Patricia Page of Meaford, and formerly of Toronto, passed away peacefully at her home that she shared with her much loved pet dogs and horses on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the age of 73.Born in Grimsby, Ontario on January 16, 1947, Pat was the much loved daughter of Reta Osman (nee North) of Meaford and the late Ronald Osman.
She was predeceased by her cherished husband and best friend Tony Page in 2013.
Pat was the kindhearted step mother of Derek Page (Elvira) of Bolton and Greg Page (Karen) of Mississauga.
She will be missed dearly by her brother Bob Osman and his wife Dawn of St. Thomas, and by her sister Carol Pattison and her husband Terry of Fenwick. She was the wonderful aunt of Sandy Robbins (late Jim) and Patti Vandenbroek (Brian), Christopher Pattison and the late Patrick Pattison (Marie).
Pat was in the first class of women recruits in 1974 for the Ontario Provincial Police and worked for many years as a police officer in Toronto. She was the proud owner of Patti Page’s Tea Shop in Meaford where she would spend much of her time serving and getting to know folks and developing friendships in the community. She truly loved Meaford and being part of the community. Many years ago Pat arranged to have Patti Page, the singer, come to perform in town. This was definitely a performance that many will remember and quite significant for this small town. Pat has always loved caring for animals and after her husband Tony passed her dogs and horses became very important companions and have helped her through some extremely challenging times.
A private family service will be conducted at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford.
