Peacefully at the Country Lane Nursing Home in Chatsworth, on Friday evening, February 5th, 2021. Rosaleen Teresa Engel, of Chatsworth, at the age of 85 years.
Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late Howard Engel (2014) for 54 years.
Dear sister of Sheila Jones (Ken), of Paisley and sister-in-law of Catherine Fay, of Wyevale, Paul Wojcik, of Chicago, Rex Engel (Penny), of Colorado and Olive Fitszimmons, of Alliston. Rosaleen will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Annie Fay; her siblings, Anna Fay, Patrick Fay, Sheamus Fay, Betty Wojcik and one infant brother; her parents-in-law, Edward and Ada Mae Engel; her in-laws, Margaret Keeling (Rod), Grace McCharles, Ruth Kennedy, James Engel (Edna) and Jack Hall.
A private family service for Rosaleen Engel will be held in the chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Wojciech Kuzma officiating. Spring interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chatsworth. Family and friends are welcome to view the service via livestream at 1:00 p.m. by selecting the ‘LIVE STREAMING’ menu option at the top right corner of the funeral home website (woodfuneralhome.ca).
