Rita Marguerite MacLeod (nee Leno) passed away peacefully at her home in Owen Sound, before going home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the age of 96 years.
Loving mother of Roger MacLeod, Nancy Muzzell, Don MacLeod and Cathy MacLeod. Proud grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Augusta Leno (nee Schildroth); her brothers, Norman Leno, Amos Leno, Rev. George Leno; her sisters, Florence Flanagan, Annie Mahon; her children, Ruth Gray, Robin MacLeod and one grandchild, Jarrett MacLeod.
A private funeral service, family only, will be held in the chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday, April 8, 2021 with Rev. Ted Creen officiating. Interment in Shiloh Cemetery, Williamsford.
