Doug’s passions were farming, fishing, hockey, baseball, and animals. He always had a dog, and later on the farm, a horse or two. He loved to tell jokes and make everyone around him laugh. He was kind & patient with everyone he encountered, qualities that made him an outstanding coach of minor hockey for years. Doug’s fondest memories were his years playing senior hockey with the Durham Huskies, and standing on 3rd base for Cotten’s Taxi. Forever in the hearts of his family, keep your stick on the ice dad.
