HAASNOOT, Aleida “Ada”
Ada Haasnoot (nee Exel) of Owen Sound, slipped away peacefully to be with her Lord on August
25, 2022 in her 80 th year at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, with her family by her side. She will be dearly missed by her children Warren and his wife Kim, Andrea and her husband Rick and Greg. Cherished grandmother of Jaimie, Mara, Jillian, Kylee and Daniel. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters and many loving nieces and nephews. Ada was a member of the Owen Sound Christian Reformed Church and she led a life of service to her church and community, volunteering for many organizations and building beautiful friendships along the way.
A visitation will be held on Friday September 2, 2022 at the Owen Sound Christian Reformed Church at 12:00pm, followed by a celebration of life at 1:30. A reception for friends and family will be held in the church hall from 2:30 to 4:00.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
