Allan James Lodge passed away unexpectedly at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at the age of 81.
Allan was predeceased by his parents Ruth and Harland Lodge and brothers John and David Lodge. He is survived by his wife Marian; his daughter Cindy (husband Paul) and daughter Wendy (husband Blake); his sister Frances (husband Jim); brother-in-law Wayne (wife Pauline) and sisters-in-law Heather, Rhoda, and Rhonda (husband Carman). Also survived by grandchildren Jamie, Taylor, Easton and Jana and many nieces and nephews.
Allan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Al loved cars, motorcycles and exploring history around both family tree and his hometown. He had the ability to talk to anyone and make them feel like they had known him for years. He had a smile that could light up any room he walked into, as well as a smile that could be a bit mischievous. Allan, an avid reader, loved music and movies and could name them all without fail.
Due to the impending winter storm the service scheduled for Thursday has been CANCELLED. The memorial will be rescheduled. The date and time will be posted when available.
Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
