Audrey passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Kelso Villa in Owen Sound, on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Born in Williamsford on January 16, 1922, Audrey Jennie Ball (née Nuhn) of Owen Sound, was in her 101st year.
Dearly loved wife of the late Robert Ball. Loving mother of John Ball (Sharon), Shirley Cox (Murray) and Wilda Vokes (Alvin), all of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of Michael, Brad, Rhonda, Susan, Cathy, Trina, Dionne, Dale, Kevin, David and great-grandmother of 19 children and great-great-grandmother of 3 children. Dear sister of Cliff Nuhn and Jim Nuhn. Audrey will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Florence Nuhn, her son, Wayne Ball (Audrey), her grandchildren, Larry, Blaine, Michelle and her son Tyler and her siblings, Dorothy Ransom, Mildred Hunt, Leonard, Rueben, Manuel, Rennie and Dennis Nuhn. A special thank you to the staff at Kelso Villa for the compassionate care given to Audrey.
A Private Funeral Service for Audrey Ball will be held in the chapel of the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519) 376-7492 on Thursday, March 24, 2022 with Rev. Ed Hoekstra officiating. All attendees must wear a mask. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
