Peacefully at the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce – Chapman House on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Born in Sydenham Township on October 28, 1934, Benjamin Earl McKee of Owen Sound, was in his 90th year.
Beloved husband of Marilyn McKee (nee Majury). Proud father of Glenn McKee (Krista) of Owen Sound and Lois Joyce (Larry McDonald) of Georgian Bluffs. Loving grandpa of Stacey McKee (Scott Crowther), Jennifer McKee (Rob Gowan), Martin Joyce (Krystle Fox), Kelli Joyce, Amanda Bailey (Mike) and Stephanie McKee (Trevor Willis). Cherished great-grandpa of Emily, Finlay and Sophia. Ben will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Evelyn McKee, hisbrother William McKee, his son Murray McKee and his son-in-law Allan Joyce.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Ben’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Kristal McGee officiating followed by a reception. Interment will take place in Annan Cemetery at a later date.
