Bessie Eliza Dixon

After a long, well-lived life, Bessie Dixon (nee Snowdon) passed at Royal Victoria Regional Health Care Centre, Barrie, on Sunday, August 27, 2023, in her 95th year. Formerly of Markdale, she leaves behind her beloved husband of 72 years, David.
Loving mother of Marion Dixon of Barrie, Douglas (Jane Stewart) of Toronto and Ken (Lisa Parsons-Dixon) of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Morgan Hay, Stephanie, Ashley, Sarah and Trevor. Proud great grandmother of Emma and Ava Hay. Predeceased by her brother Stuart and sister Molly and infant son Bruce.
The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd. on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Markdale Cemetery.
