Beth passed away suddenly at her home on March 24, 2023. Born on May 26, 1984 in Hanover, Bethany Ann Boddy of Owen Sound, was in her 39th year.
Dearly loved daughter of Ann Boddy of Owen Sound (Bill Marshall of Keady) and Bob Boddy (Delores Gatemen) of Chesley. Dear sister of Dan Boddy (Sandra) of Sauble Beach, Drew Boddy of Southampton, and stepsister of Jason Gateman of Desboro. Proud aunt of Kar’lea (Patrick), Breyanna and Shepherd. Great aunt of Nymeria. Cherished granddaughter of Paul and Irene Rogers of Owen Sound. Beth will be missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her paternal grandparents Bill and Helen Boddy of Owen Sound, and by her stepbrother Jason Gateman.
Beth leaves behind her beloved “fur-babies”, Weiland and Junior. She loved them very much. Beth developed quite the green thumb in the last few years, she loved her plants. She was a special soul and she touched all the people she was close with in ways that were individual to us alone, she will be missed by us all. Beth loved to cook, she was always making delicious food to share.
A memorial service to celebrate Beth’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place in Annan Cemetery at a later date.
