Suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener on Sunday July 3, 2022. Camilla Marie Nadjiwon, of Neyaashiinigmiing, at the age of 59 years.
Dear mother of Shane Nadjiwon (partner Stacey Corbeil), Travis Nadjiwon, Rodney Nadjiwon, all of Neyaashiinigmiing, and Beverley Nadjiwon, of Kitchener. Proud grandmother of Emery Wesley, and Ziibi Nadjiwon, Ogitchitaa Lassaline, Zhimaagan Lassaline, Aakodewin Lassaline, and Waaseyaa Lassaline. Devoted sister of Patrick Nadjiwon (partner Aurora), of Toronto, Beverly Nadjiwon, and Chantel Nadjiwon, both of Orillia. Sadly missed by her special aunt Berdina Johnston, of Neyaashiinigmiing; cousins; and by uncle Ken and family ‘from up-north’. Beloved auntie to her many nieces and nephews. Treats will be missed by her feline companions, especially Kung Fu and Tommy.
Predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Rose; grandparents, Walter Johnston and Frances Nawash-Johnston; her best friend and life partner Chico “Roderick Pedoniquott”; and her brother, Michael Nadjiwon.
Friends may call at the Maadookii Senior Centre, Neyaashiinigmiing, on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where a service will be held on Friday July 8, 2022 at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow.
