After a short illness Campbell Lyon passed away peacefully at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years and love of his life, Fiona. He is also survived by daughter Karen (partner John Feenstra) sons Steve (wife Dana) and Doug. He was the very proud grandfather of grandsons Alex, Jamie and Beaux Lyon and granddaughter, Mia Finnie.
Born on January 23, 1939 in Glasgow Scotland, Campbell was the only son of Thomas and Jessie Lyon. He was predeceased by his sisters Ena and Betty and brother-in-law Robert.
He is fondly remembered by his nieces Flora, Jessica, Patricia and Gilly and by his nephews Alan, Peter and George.
A private family service will be held Friday, April 9th at 1pm. Although the service is private, friends are welcome to view the service via livestream by selecting the ‘LIVE STREAMING’ menu option on the funeral home website (woodfuneralhome.ca).
A Celebration of Life hosted by the Lyon family will be held at a later date, where you can be assured there will be plenty of laughter and a perhaps a few tears.
