Schreiber, Leo – peacefully at John Joseph Place, Owen Sound, on Sunday August 28, 2022.
Captain Leo Joseph Schreiber at the age of 88 years. Dear father of Robert “Bob” Schreiber (Corrine), and step-father of Brian Fulford (Jane), all of Sauble Beach. Cherished grandfather of Jonathon, Joseph, and Kathryn. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Leo will be forever missed by the family of his late wife, Shirley Schreiber-White (nee Robinson); and by the family of his late partner, Margaret “Maggie” Watson (nee McArthur).
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Annie; brother, Ronald (Lorna); and step-daughter, Betty Fulford.
Family invite friends to gather for visitation at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Thursday September 1, 2022 from 11 – 1, followed by a private family service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. The service will be taped and posted to Leo’s page on the funeral home website.
