Peacefully at Lee Manor, Owen Sound early Sunday morning March 2, 2025 in his 80th year.
Loving husband to Jennifer of London and the late Phyllis Rourke (nee McCoy). Proud father to Marc Rourke (Charlene) of Tara and Marty Rourke (Sarah) of Chesley. Stepfather to Pete Barfett of London and Lisa Gilchrist (Ryan) of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather to Jason, Danny, Justin and Olivia Rourke, Hailey and Kylah Gilchrist and Jordie Barfett. Survived by his sister Mary Robinson of Moorefield and Tom Rourke (Barb) of Allenford and brother-in-law Ken McCoy (Cathy) of Owen Sound. He will be remembereed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Elgin and Marguerite Rourke and brother-in-law Ed Robinson.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Allenford Curling Club on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with memories shared at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.
