Peacefully passed at age 98 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Care Centre, Barrie, on Friday, October 18, 2024. Formerly of Markdale, Dave is reunited with his beloved Bess (2023). Loving father of Marion Dixon of Barrie, Douglas (Jane Stewart) of Tiny and Ken (Lisa Parsons) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Jessyka, Jeremy, Morgan, Ashley, Stephanie, Trevor, and Sarah. Proud great grandfather of twins Emma and Ava. Predeceased by sisters Doris Hamilton and Marjorie Miale, as well as.infant son Bruce.
The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 12:45pm. Brethren of the Prince Arthur Lodge, #333, Flesherton, are called to assemble for service at 12:45pm. Memorial Service from chapel at 1pm. Lunch to follow.
