Dorothy passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Friday. June 24th, 2022. Born on July 15th, 1926 in Southampton, Dorothy Elizabeth Adams (née Steinhoff) of Owen Sound, was in her 96th year. Dearly beloved wife for 69 years of the late Gordon Adams (2015). Proud mother of Don Adams (Lynda), Jim Adams (Brenda) and David Adams (Allyson). Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dorothy will be remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Vera Steinhoff and her sisters Lorraine, Marjorie and Audrey. A visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street East, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A funeral for Dorothy Adams will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Phil Smith and Pastor Brian Jasper officiating. Interment in Zion Cemetery, Hepworth. If so desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
