Dorothy Mae Duncan (nee MacMillan), of RR#6 Markdale, passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Duncan. Loving mother of Anne and her husband Art Cousins, Linda and her husband Donny MacKenzie, and Sharon and her husband Bill Postlethwaite. Cherished grandmother of Patricia, Stan (Britt), Rob, Justin (Kristen), Jason (Michelle), Megan (Jeff), Kim, and Jim. Great-grandmother of Jasmine, Jacob, Zack, Ryan, Alora, Charlotte, Peyton, Haylee, Jonathan, Cullen, and Everett. Dear sister of Bill and Joan MacMillan, Angus and Karen MacMillan, and Doug and Sheila MacMillan. Predeceased by her son John Duncan, her brother Robert MacMillan, and her sisters Jean Reed, Beth McLaughlin, and Donna Harmon.
Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Wednesday, October 6th from 7 – 9 p.m. Due to Covid-19 protocols masks are required and social distancing must be respected on Funeral Home property. A private celebration of life service will be held. Those wishing to attend the committal service are welcome to join the family on Thursday, October 7th at 1:45 p.m. at McLean’s Cemetery, 597003 Concession 2 South, Bognor. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
