YATES, Dorothy Marie (nee Coleman)
Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, September 28, 2020 in her 70th year. Dorothy, beloved wife of the late Ed Yates. Loving mother of Ed and his wife Michelle, Jason and his wife Melissa, and Sandra and her husband Ron Trelford.
Loving Nana of Katelyn, Dakota, Haydon, Nevaeh, Jade, and Lexi-Jane. Dear sister of George Coleman and his wife Helen, Keith Coleman, and Donna Walker; and sister-in-law of Gord , Bev, Bob and his wife Marie, Penny and her husband Bob Ashley, Gail and her husband Rick Holstock, Steve, and Rick Waters and his wife Brenda, Bonnie, and Pat. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Bert and Edith (nee Lamont) Coleman; siblings Gordon Walker, and Joe Coleman; parents-in-law Ken and Norma Yates; and siblings-in-law Ken Yates, Bill Yates, and Barb Brown, Alice Yates, and Carol Coleman.
Dorothy lost her husband Ed on May 16th of this year. A visitation for both Dorothy and Ed will be held on Friday, October 23rd, 2020 from 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A private family memorial service will be live streamed on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 1:00pm.
