Edythe Marion Lawler (nee Loney) – March 10, 1929 to March 14, 2023
Passed peacefully in her 95th year on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the Wingham & District Hospital, formerly of Maxwell. Beloved wife of the late Stanley E. Lawler (2009). Loving mother of Timothy (Mary) Lawler of Stayner , David Lawler of Maxwell, Barbara (Glenn) Smith of Flesherton, Gayle (Murray) Jamieson of Point Clark, Judy (the late Don) Yaeck of Glencairn and Pam Wayne (Doug Baker) of Penetang. Edythe was a cherished grandmother of twelve and loving great-grandmother of twenty-three.
She is survived by brother Robert Loney of Little Britain and sisters Helen Connell of Holland Centre, Cheryll Brill of Berkeley and Lynda Leathley of St. John, New Brunswick. Predeceased by parents John Elvin Loney and Gladys Mary Powell, sister Joyce Hodgekinson and brother William Loney.
Sisters and brothers of the Order of the Eastern Star, Grey Chapter #170 are called to assemble on Monday, March 20 at 9:30am. The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton, from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Interment Maxwell Cemetery.
