MCMILLAN, Eileen
Went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, June 11, 2021. Born in Bentinck Township on May 23, 1931, Eileen Pearl McMillan (nee Schultz) of Owen Sound, was in her 91st year. Cherished wife and best friend of Don McMillan for 71 years. Daughter of the late Samuel and Alma (Schlorff) Schultz. Loving mother of Eldon (Linda), Sheila Tedford (Rick), Gail Hill and Carol Walker. She adored and was loved by her grandchildren Kristy McMillan (Jason Dunlap), Kim McMillan, Shari Haak (Kevin), Trisha Howell (Joe), Liam Hill, Miriam Hill, April Huber (Jeff), Craig Walker (Maggie Stojkovic), and Jay Walker (Holly), great-grandchildren, Brownyn, Hadley, Clayton, Rachel, Sara, Derek, Autumn, Drayton, Lincoln, Nicole, Rose, Aidan, Alice and foster great-grandchildren to C. & C. Survived by her brother Allan Schultz (New Hamburg) and brother-in-law Glen Crewson (Hamilton). Also missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her sons-in-law Hugh Hill (2007) and Wayne Walker (2014), sisters Mabel (Fred) Smith and Elda Crewson, sisters-in-law Chris Schultz, Florence (Dave) Stevens, Marg (Jim) Lemon, Thelma (George) Lemon, Muriel (Jack) Brooks and brother-in-law Ernie (Ruth) McMillan.
Visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. All visitors must wear a mask, follow social distancing protocols and schedule a time by calling the funeral home 519-376-7492, or emailing, info@woodfuneralhome.ca. A private funeral service to celebrate Eileen’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 with Pastors Tim Chambers and Chad Gordon officiating. The service will be livestreamed from the funeral home website at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
