Ken was a skilled hockey player so she became a sports enthusiast, where Mom enjoyed watching several generations of her family play various sports. Mom enjoyed life to the fullest and kept herself busy with work, her hobbies, and grandchildren which continued when she met Alex. After marrying Alex and then retiring a few years later, Mom loved to travel, garden, shop, sew, craft, decorate and attend the Plowing Match as well local music festivals in their truck and trailer.
