Francis Moran of Williamsford, passed away at Victoria Hospital, London, on July 10, 2022, at age 78.
Loving partner and soulmate of Brenda Cook. Proud father of Krista McCormick (Jeff) of Markdale, Brad Moran (Susan) of Holland Centre, and Jayme Moran (Jenn West) of Owen Sound. Stepfather of Lori Beyer (James) of Owen Sound, Brad Cook (Alicia) of Tara, Sharrie Sinclair of Saskatchewan, Tammy Klages (Kevin) of Desboro, and Steve Cook (Christine Walker) of Tara. Dearly missed by grandchildren Carley, Eastlind, Trenten, Jessica, Morgan, Jakob, Marissa, McKenna, Carter, Noah, Edyn, Ronan, Jude, Tyler, Jena, Hanna, Emma, Cassidy, Logan, Colton, Mavis-Leigh, Austin, Cody, and Amelia, and great-granddaughter Blair. Also survived by his siblings Catherine Fay, Helen Marie Beirnes, Patricia Scott (Bill), John Moran (Brenda), and Jerome Moran and brother-in-law Wayne Batterman.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Moran (nee D’Arcy), sisters Lorena Batterman and Camilla Silverthorn (Jack), wife Donna Moran (nee Byers) and brother-in-laws Sheumas Fay and Frank Beirnes.
Francis will be fondly remembered by his many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, neighbours and customers from his lengthy career at A&P and his own abattoir business.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth.

Visitations will be held Wednesday July 13, from 1:00 – 3:00 and 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the Funeral Mass, which will be held Thursday July 14 at 11:00 am, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Owen Sound. Father Wojciech Kuzma officiating.
Interment at St. Paul’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Dornoch, followed by a lunch at Williamsford Curling Club.
