Henry, Freda – formerly of Georgian Bluffs, peacefully at Gateway Haven in Wiarton, on Sunday April 28, 2024. Freda Lillian Georgena Henry (nee Ward) at the age of 81 years.
Beloved wife of the late Wayne Henry (2020) for 43 years. Beloved mother of Karl and his wife Sarah, Garth and his wife Angelina, and Ryan, all of Georgian Bluffs. Cherished grandmother of Edward, Lily-Ann, Vivienne, Georgia, Jackson, and Clayton. Much loved sister of Orval Ward (Sylvia), of Markdale; and sister-in-law of Doug (Pat), of Chatsworth, Ruth (Larry Krieg), of Owen Sound, Gail Bray (late Jim), of Wiarton, Sheila (Gary Gilbert), of Wiarton, and Penny Henry (partner Pat Holman), of Stokes Bay. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, George and Vivian Ward.
Family wish to thank the doctors and nursing staff of the Wiarton Hospital and Gateway Haven for the wonderful care given to Freda.
Friends may call for visitation at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Friday May 3, 2024 from 12-2 PM, where a service to celebrate Freda’s life will take place at 2 o’clock. Interment in Bayview Cemetery.
