Peacefully at his home at Summit Place Long Term Care in Owen Sound, on Sunday evening, February 20, 2022.
Born on February 24, 1943, Garvin Dennis Showell of Owen Sound, was in his 79th year.
Dear brother of Janice Reid (Doug) of Annan. Garvin will also be missed by his nephews, Kevin (Nathalie) and Keith (Joni) as well as his friends. He was a cherished great-uncle of Sierra, Clay, Ainslee and Westin who he thought the world of.
Predeceased by his parents Eric (1979) and Wilda Showell (nee Wade) (2012).
A private family Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Saturday, February 26, 2022 with Reverend Ryan Tudor officiating. Interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
