WALKER, Genevieve ‘Jeanne’ With sadness, love and profound gratitude, the family of Jeanne Walker (nee Solomon) of Oliphant and formerly of Kitchener-Waterloo, announce her sudden passing in her 95th year at Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound, on Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late George Walker (pre 2012). Cherished mother of Cathy Grant (Stephen) of Baden, Dr. Ross Walker (Judith) of Kingston and Cameron Walker (Dr. Jacqueline) of Western Springs, Illinois. Much loved grandmother of Andrew, Emily (Darcy), Fraser, Allison (Patrick), Elizabeth (Nick), Jamieson and Katie (Joel) and great grandmother of Lawson and Lily. Dear sister of Ted Solomon.
Predeceased by parents Josephine (nee Zych) and Lawrence Solomon, brothers Joseph, Stanley, John and Carl and sisters Helen Krulicki and Mary Wolek.
Private family arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. A service of rememberence will be held at a later date.
