George Lewis Boyd

Lewis Boyd passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services in Meaford on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the age of 83.
Born in Owen Sound, he was a son of the late Elwood Boyd and Bessie (nee Dixon) Boyd of St. Vincent Township.
Lou was predeceased by his beloved wife Sharon in August of 2021.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Lou is survived by his brother Bill (the late Dora) and Orville (Sue), and will be remembered fondly by his many nieces, nephews and their families.
He will always be affectionately remembered as the ‘Mayor of Rocklyn’ where he and Sharon spent many years with their family.
Lou absolutely loved being a trucker. The next time you hear Phantom 309, Convoy or Teddy Bear on the radio, please think of Lou. These were just a few of his favourite ‘trucker songs’.
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford.
