Peacefully at Chapman House on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Born in Durham on April 7, 1946, of Owen Sound was in his 79th year.
Beloved spouse of Karen Nicholls of Owen Sound. Loving father of David Weppler of Owen Sound, Amanda Weppler (Blair) of Chesley, and Jackie Nicholls (Jeff) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandpa of Daven, Cameron, Nicole, Paisley and Bailey. Dear brother of Norm Weppler (Joyce) of Hanover and Hazel Welechenko of Hanover. Gordon will be missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Predeceased by his wife Joanne Pringle-Weppler, daughter Tammy Weppler, son Mark Weppler, parents Alfred and Marion Weppler, and by his brothers Edgar Weppler, Harry Weppler and Peter Weppler.
Gordon had a passion for music and often foundpleasureplaying his guitar, but nothing compared to the love and joy he created with his family,friends and special dogs Misty and Freddy.
In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, cremation is taking place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
