Heather Jane Aberdein (nee Ross)
Peacefully at her home in Mount Forest on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, formerly of Flesherton and Toronto (Willowdale) in her 85th year. Beloved wife of 61 years to David. Loving mother of Ross( Jill) of Mississauga and Scott of Rocklyn. Proud grandmother of Kevin, Madeline, James, Liam and Nathan. Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Wilda Ross, sister Marlene Roach and brother Frank Ross.
Heather was born February 26, 1939 in Port Arthur, Ontario. She moved to Willowdale with her family where she finished school, and met David through her work. Heather was an accomplished and prolific artist, and was actively involved in the church community. Her love of God was second only to her love for her family.
The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd., Flesherton Saturday, August 12 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Cremation has taken place, interment Flesherton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, or Centre Grey Health Services, Markdale would be gratefully appreciated.
