Peacefully at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound on Friday March 22, 2024. Howard “Howie” Percival Hepburn at the age of 87 years.
Devoted husband of 67 years to Maisie (nee Weir). Dear father of Sharon Hepburn (partner Barry Cunningham), of New Hamburg, Don (Tracey), of Mar, Brian (partner Margaret MacDonald), of Hepworth, and Roger (Donna), of South Bruce Peninsula. Cherished grandfather of Trevor (partner Eva), Tommy, Barrett (partner Amy), Justin (partner Samantha), Eric (wife Chantalle), Chad (wife Katie), Clark (partner Jorya), Kirby (partner Marissa), and Courtney (partner Jeff); and great-grandfather of Landon, Logan, Liam, Rayah, Emma-Rose, Cohen, and Kaley.
Predeceased by his parents, Andrew “Andy” and Minnie (nee Pruder); great-granddaughter, Tayja Mae; brothers, Herb (Winnifred), Gordon “Babe” (Marie), and Lorne “Bing” (Ioleen); and sister, Nora (Ron Fenner); brothers-in-law, Harvey Weir (Betty), Lorne Weir (Mary), Jack Weir (Clara), and Don Weir (Joyce); and sisters-in-law, Mildred (Jack McArthur, Janet (Roy Barnes), Hester (Tom Cunningham), and Edna (Allan Day). Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Howie was proud to be a Past Executive member of RCL Br.#208 Wiarton.

Friends may call at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Tuesday March 26, 2024 from 5-8 PM, where a service to celebrate Howie’s life will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow with interment in Colpoy’s Bay Cemetery.
