Peacefully at home, in his sleep after a short battle with cancer, on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in his 69^th year. He leaves behind his wife Candy, his two children Kyle (Allison) and Glenda, and his beloved grandchildren Val, and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his sister Judy MacArthur, his in-laws Dale and Sandy Grieve, and Blair Rusk and his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Doris Irwin, brother-in-law Lloyd MacArthur, nephew Kirk, and 3 grandchildren Stacey, Connor, and Nathan.

Friends will be received on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 1:00pm at the family farm, 857 Concession 12, Paisley, Bruce Township (2 km South of North Bruce/4km East of Hwy 21). Interment Lovat Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation for the London Regional Cancer Program or VON Grey Bruce would be appreciated by the family.
