Jean Scott of Kitchener, formerly of Chesley, passed away at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in her 93rd year.
Loving mother of Gail (Ian) McFaul of Owen Sound, Susan (Ted) Chapman of Brantford, Elaine (Doug) Schaab of Chesley and Greta (Peter) Crozier of Kitchener. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Chris), Scott (Dana), Linda (Dave), Jeff, Kevin (Kristin), Kim and great-grandmother of Charlotte, Audrey, Jake, Ashley, Charlie, and Callie. Jean will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Sally Vanwyck of Waterloo. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon (1995), sister Merle (Gerry) Trayner, brothers Elgin (Jessie) Vanwyck, Harold Vanwyck and her parents Ernest and Elsie (Morrison) Vanwyck.
An informal celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Please save the date. Further details of the day will be made available on the funeral home website in mid-April. Private family inurnment in Desboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Trinity Village Care Centre Recreation Department, Chesley Hospital Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
