Passed away at Grey Gables, Markdale on Friday, June 11, 2021. Jill Strachan (nee Symes) of Markdale in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late John Samuel Strachan.
Dear mother of John (Irene) of Owen Sound, Joanne (Bart) of Toronto, Mark (Starr) of Alberta, Scott of Markdale and Peter of Ottawa.
Cherished grandmother of Jason, Alexandra, Adam, Justin, Jasmine, Samantha, Michael, Jacob, Brianne, Emily and Charmaine and loving great-grandmother of Dillon, Jordan, Allison, Kaitlyn and Ariana.
Predeceased by parents Herbert & Dorothy (nee Beaton) Symes, son Michael, twin brother Jack, brother Paul and sister Stella.
A private family memorial service will be held at the May Funeral Home, Markdale on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
