Peacefully, with family by his side on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 5 days short of his 90th birthday, at the Owen Sound Hospital. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Jones). Beloved Dad of Lynn Neitsch, and Monica (Dennis) Kidd. Proud Papa of Jacklynn, Fraser, Steven, and Sara. Dear brother of Jean McDougald, and brother-in-law of Barb Schlatman. Predeceased by his parents Hector and Marjorie Fraser, sister Mabel Cook, sons-in-law Craig Irwin, and Harry Neitsch, and brothers-in-law Bill McDougald , and Joe Schlatman.

Jack served on the Port Elgin Fire Department for 32 years, and was a dedicated caretaker of the Port Elgin Cemetery for 28 years.

Friends will be received on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 7pm – 9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. Private Family Interment.

Memorial donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
