Joyce passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Meaford on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Born on February 10, 1942 in Holland Township, Joyce Maxine Thomasine Murray (née Madill) of Markdale, was in her 81st year.
Dearly loved wife of the late Roy Murray (2008). Loving mother of Myles Murray (Christine), of Michigan and Judy Murray (Jamie Seabrook) of Walter’s Falls. Proud grandmother of Amanda (Leo Goglidze) and Dylan (Samantha Tincher) and great-grandmother of Ava Goglidze. Dear sister of Gerald Madill (Geraldine), Steward Madill (Betty), Ruth Curry (Wayne), Darlene Seabrook, Bonnie Brown (Jack) and sister-in-law of Linda Madill and Darlene Madill-McDonald. Predeceased by her parents, Ira and Jean Madill, her siblings, Ina Petch (Doug), Clayton Madill, Mervyn Madill and her brother-in-law, Gary Seabrook. Joyce will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and her special 4-legged companion, Benny.
A visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519 376 7492 on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Joyce Murray will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Henkel officiating. Interment in McLean’s Cemetery, Bognor. A reception will be held at the Walter’s Falls Community Centre following the interment.
