June Marie Bumstead (nee Follis) of Owen Sound passed peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the age of 90 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late William Bumstead (2017). Loving mother of Albert Bumstead (Marie) and Wayne Bumstead (Delores) both of Allenford. Proud grandmother of Rachel Bumstead (Brian) and Steven Morris and great-grandmother of Josh Bumstead (Steph), Jessie Brainard (Dom) and Johnathon Brainard (Ashleigh). Dear sister of Shirley Rush, of Hanover and sister-in-law of Irene Follis and Elizabeth Bumstead both of Owen Sound.
Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Sarah Follis, her brothers, Bill, George, Ken, Harvey and Paul Follis, her sisters, Pat Underwood (Bill) and Jacqueline Follis, her brother-in-law Keith Bumstead.
A Come and Go Reception for June Bumstead will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound (519-376-7492) on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. All attending must wear a mask and social distance. Private family interment in Annan Cemetery.
