Passed away peacefully at Chapman House, Owen Sound on October 16, 2023 of pulmonary fibrosis at 88 years old.
Beloved wife of Oran Farquharson of Owen Sound for over 63 years. Loving mom of Julie Duncan (Terry) of Sauble Beach, Steve (Donna) of Guelph, Brian (Kim) of Owen Sound. Cherished gramma of Lynsey (James), Jodi (Eathan), Wyatt, Kennydi, Tyson, Jordyn, and Sara. Great-gramma to Henley. Sister-in-law of Betty Morrow, Muriel Hope and Orma Rossell. Kay will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Predeceased by her parents William Morrow and Margaret Morrow (nee Ceaser), her twin brother Robert (Bob) and Oran’s siblings: Les (Lillian), Genevieve (Sandy) Rollo, Luella Bumstead, Iola (John) Lee, Russell (Margaret).
Kay enjoyed a good euchre game, camping at Carson’s Camp for almost 50 years, and potluck dinners with family and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday November 3rd, from 2 – 4 at the Owen Sound Legion Branch #6 in the Ladies Lounge (main entrance) at 1450 2nd Ave West with memories being shared at 2:00 p.m. There will be a private interment in Annan Cemetery.
