Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Saturday morning, October 31st, 2020. Kelvin Gary “Kelly” Waller, of Owen Sound, at the age of 83 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of the late Lynda Waller (nee Taylor) (2019). Loving father of Kerry Hammill (James), of Chatsworth, Kimberly White (Tom), Janet Waller-Coture (Dave) and Heather Jolley (Rob), all of Owen Sound. Proud grandfather of Ryan (Melissa), Tyler (Alyssa), Harley (Damon), Jazzmine, Chelsea, Matthew, David, Natasha and great-grandfather of Spencer, Alexandra, Eleanor, Hudson, Joe, Zayden, Jackson. Dear brother of Keith Waller (Donna) and Dale Waller and brother-in-law of Ruby Waller, all of Owen Sound. Kelly will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Kelly was the last of the old-time butchers – a job he really loved. He loved music, dancing, playing pool, motorcycles and the motorcycle club that he belonged to. Predeceased by his parents, George and Florence Waller; his siblings, Doug, George, Carl and Maureen Waller; his parents-in-law, Earl and Marion Taylor. Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 50 people will be allowed in the building at any given time and visitors are required to wear a mask and follow physical distancing rules. A Private Funeral Service for Kelly Waller will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 with Rev. Heather McCarrel officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
