Johns, Laurence Sheldon – Of Lion’s Head, peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound on Monday March 29, 2021 at the age of 85 years. Dear husband and best friend of Eleanor (nee Daniels) for over 60 years. Proud father of Geoffrey (partner Julie Croke), and Elizabeth (Dave Taylor). Cherished grandfather of Miranda Johns, Carrisa Johns, and Sarah Taylor; great-grandfather of Nikita. Brother of Beatrice Coughlin (late Bruce); late Donald Johns (Carol); brother-in-law to Isabel (Clare Churchward), late Norma & Gus Campbell. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Florence Johns. Family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Owen Sound hospital for the wonderful care given to Laurence. In keeping with Laurence’s motto “Be reasonable….do it my way!”, cremation has taken place. Our family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
