Peacefully, with family by her side at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound on Friday, January 10, 2025 in her 85th year.
Linda (nee Holmes), loving wife of the late Merv. Beloved Mom of Sherry and her husband Gary Murdock, Karen Metcalfe and her partner David Walsh, and Sandy and her husband Scott McLeod. Proud Grandma/Nana of Jason (Whitney), Matthew (Shannon), Sarah (Chris), Laura (Josh), Curtis, and Nicki (Cory). Great Grandma of Jackson, Cole, and Oaklynn. Linda will be fondly remembered and missed by many family and friends.
The Pegelo family would like to thank Dr. Aboo and all the staff of the 5th Floor Oncology Unit at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound as well as the Emergency Department Staff. Our thanks also to the staff at Central Place for their compassion and care. Our Mom considered Central Place her home and loved it there.
Friends will be received on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm and on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 from 12:00pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00pm in the chapel at the Brown Family Funeral Home (formerly Tannahill Funeral Home) 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710.
Memorial donations to the Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Foundation for the Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
