Peacefully with family by her side at Owen Sound Hospital on Friday, March 21, 2025. Lyla Charlton (nee McComb) of Clavering in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of Clifford Charlton. Cherished mother of Vera Butt (Doug) of Owen Sound, John Charlton of Georgian Bluffs, Janet Burrows (Steve) of Sauble Beach, Kenton Charlton (Marilyn) of Georgian Bluffs, Karen Shiply of Brampton and Allan Charlton (Shelly) of Saskatchewan. Much loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Missed by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents Annie (nee Breadner) and William ‘Bill’ McComb, brothers Bruce McComb and Gerald McComb and sisters Geraldine Copp, Marlene Drennan, Betty Charron and Ruth Caudle,
Family and friends are invited to share memories at the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth on Friday, March 28th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Internment at Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake.
