Marilyn passed away at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Marilyn Stephens (nee Kells), of Owen Sound was in her 93rd year. Dearly beloved wife of the late George Stephens.  Proud and loving mother of Randé Kells, Brock Stephens (late) (Debbie), Scott Stephens (Penny), Mark Stephens (Cathy), Craig Stephens (Sue) and Deborah Vining (Marty). Beloved grandmother of Alicia Stephens-Haurie, Sean Stephens, Amy Stephens, Carry Jean Stephens, Jennifer Poole, Lindsay Morris, Geordan Stephens, Natalie Stephens, Jessica Vining, Emily Beauparland and Aidan Vining.  Marilyn is survived by many great-grandchildren and her loving niece, Jodi Clarke.  Predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Alice Kells, her sister, Paddy King, her partner, Greg Brown and her great-granddaughter, Morgan. Marilyn’s greatest passions in life were her family, friends, fun and a good book. Her home was always open to the many friends and family members who took comfort and often shelter in her home.  She was loved and will be missed by many. May her fortitude and joyful spirit live on in her family.
