Marion passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
Born on April 27, 1934 in Point Edward, Marion Jean Reed (nee Graham McCord) of Owen Sound, was in her 89th year. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Lorne Reed for 44 years.
Proud mother of Terry Reed (Marlene), of Peterborough, Brian Reed (Marlette), of Calgary, Karen Pramberg, of Calgary and David Reed (Jessie), of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of Jon, Kathleen, Colleen, Jon and Alexander. Dear sister of Fred McCord, Tom McCord (Dianne). Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary-Ellen McCord, her sisters Thelma Kitchen and Marg Bramham (Ron), her brother William McCord (Rita) and her sister-in-law Doris McCord.
A funeral service for Marion will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Marlette Reed officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
