Marjorie Weller passed away peacefully at Groves Park Lodge, Renfrew, on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in her 88th year.
She was predeceased by her husband Gary Weller in 2007.
Born on July 13, 1934 in Artemesia Township, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Wilda (nee Wilkinson) Plummer.
Marjorie was predeceased by her siblings Ernie, Eunice, and Mervyn Plummer.
She is survived by her children; Larry (Patricia) Weller of Douglas, June (Gary) Leonard of Whitehorse, and Lee (Cindy) Weller of Meaford.
She was the proud grandmother of Melissa (Phillip) Tschritter of Medicine Hat, Jeremy Leonard and wife Robyn Cowper of Kelowna, Jennifer Weller and partner Chad Webb of Kitimat, Daniel Weller and partner Lindsey Boyd of Chilliwack, Patrick Weller of Douglas, Christopher Weller of Toronto, Adam Weller and Nicole Weller of Meaford, and great grandmother of Isabella and Grayson Tschritter, Landon Cowper and Cache Leonard. She will be remembered fondly by her sisters-in-law Audrey Plummer of Collingwood and Lois Plummer of Clarksburg.
Marjorie was foremost a wife, mother, and grandmother, aunt, friend, and cook extraordinaire. She was kind, gentle, and very determined.
Much thanks to the staff at Groves Park Lodge Nursing Home for their compassionate care over the last three and a half years.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 2 o’clock with visiting the hour prior to service. A service of committal and interment will follow at Thornbury Clarksburg Union Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and we ask that masks are worn to keep everybody safe.
