Passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Born in Sydenham Township, Mary Elizabeth Schnurr (nee King) of Owen Sound, was the beloved wife of the late Morris Schnurr.
Loving mother of Bradley, Glenn, Carolyn, and Jennifer. Cherished grandmother of Scott, Lisa, Cory, Andrew, Jason, Carrie, Wade and of 9.5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Barbara Cole. Mary will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents John and Nina King.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at the Shallow Lake United Church,75 Cruickshank Street Shallow Lake, on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Doug Brown officiating.
