Mildred Jean Bye

Passed away peacefully with loving family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on June 17, 2022. Born in Sydenham Township on October 18, 1927, Mildred Jean Bye (née Vanwyck) of Owen Sound, was in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of the late Leonard Bye. Loving mother of Lloyd (Gayle) Bye, the late Alvin (Carol) Bye, Ruth (Richard) McLean, Paul (Rose) Bye and Sharon (David) Collie. Cherished Nanny of Christopher, Alisa, Michael, Kristina, Jessica, Sarah, Jennifer, Megan, Laura, and Great Nanny of Joely, Lucy, Jade, Kaitlyn, Alexander, Erica, Isabel, Kayley, Maria, Bryson and Vanessa.
A funeral service to celebrate Mildred’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250–14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. All attending are kindly asked to wear a mask. The service will be livestreamed from the funeral home website and a recording will be posted to Mildred’s memorial webpage. Interment will follow at Annan Cemetery.
