Mildred "Millie" Elizabeth Bryans

November 25, 1922 – June 14, 2022
Mildred “Millie” Elizabeth Bryans (nee Gardiner), of Owen Sound, passed peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services on June 14, 2022, in her 100th year. She is now reunited with her husband Milton, who predeceased her after 73 years of marriage, in 2017.
Mother of sons Barry (Cora), Glen (Dorothy) and daughters Vivian Povelofskie (Bryan), Elaine Perras, Colleen Danard (Kurt), Yvonne Bryans and Joyce Bryans. She is also survived by her niece Darda Jean Burkhart, with whom she was raised, in-laws Wilbur Bryans (Mary), Vincent Bryans, Evelyn Snowden, Mavis and Betty Bryans. Dearly missed by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Tom and Margaret Jane (Maggie) Gardiner, siblings Margarette Wills (Percy), John Lohoar (Gladys), nephew Frank Wills, and in-laws Stuart Snowden, Howard, Ivan, Beverly, Clarence, Caroline,Violet, and Ruth Bryans.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. Visitations will be held Sunday June 19, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, and one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held at 11:00 am Monday June 20, at the funeral home chapel, Reverend Charla Chilver officiating. Interment at the Desboro Cemetery.
