Marchand, Monica – of Wiarton, peacefully at Gateway Haven in Wiarton on Wednesday July 7, 2021. The former Monica Marie Clouthier at the age of 97. Dear mother of Ken Marchand, Linda Williamson (late Ross, 2020), and Cathy (Jerry Miller), all of Wiarton. Cherished grandmother of Brodie Miller (fiancé Ray), and Jason Miller (Brittany); and great-grandmother of Mila Miller. Devoted sister of Ernest Clouthier (Diana), of Windsor. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Roseanne (nee Provost); her husband Leo (1997); siblings, Marie Brouillette (Egile Vanny), Arther Pete Clouthier (Martina), Caroline Reau Brouillette me (Alcide), Carolie Regnier (Armond), Pearl Breault (Herman), Dorothy Lanoue (Ernest), Leo Clouthier (Pearl), and Theresa Taylor (Donald); and brothers-in-law Henry Marchand (Dora), Felix Marchand (Leah), and Alex Marchand (Beatrice). Family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. John VanDorp and the staff at Gateway Haven for the wonderful care given to Monica. A private family Funeral Mass will be conducted from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Wiarton on Monday July 12, 2021. Interment in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton.
