A big thank you to all the doctors and nurses at the Grey Bruce Health Services and the wonderful staff at Summit Place LTC for the excellent care of our mother/grandmother.

Morna moved back to Ontario in 1960 and worked for many years as a bookkeeper at various businesses including 14 years at the Desboro Feed Mill. She loved to assist with compiling Ontario Census and helping with elections starting around 1988. Morna worked tirelessly in the Genealogical Society tracking down relatives from not only her own lineage but for many others. She was awarded a 20 year volunteer pin for her work with the Bruce & Grey Branch. She had a great love of researching family trees and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Morna was a country girl at heart.
A graveside service will take place in the spring at Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce or the Ontario Genealogical Society would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home. Condolences can be sent by visiting Morna’s online memorial at www.woodfuneralhome.ca.
