Peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Summit Place, Owen Sound. Born on February 16, 1930, Murray James Morrison of Owen Sound, was 2 days short of his 91st birthday.
Loving father of Vivian Paroschy (Nick) of Huntsville, Beverly Morrison (Millie Locking), Brian Morrison (Heather), Glen Morrison (Lynda) and Dennis Morrison (Heather), all of Owen Sound. Proud grandfather of Kathlyn, Peter, Adam, Devin, Taylor, Samuel, and great-grandfather of Delina and Nicholas.
Predeceased by his wife and best friend of 62 years, June (née McChesney) Morrison, his sons Terry Morrison, Timothy Morrison and by his grandson Jordan Morrison.
Visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday, February 18, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Due to COVID19 restrictions all attendees must wear a mask, follow social distancing protocols and RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling the funeral home. A private funeral service will be taking place on February 18th and a video recording of the service will be posted to Murray’s memorial webpage on the funeral home website (www.woodfuneralhome.ca) later in the day. Interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
