Lee passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound, on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Born on Friday, March 3, 1939, Robert Lee Haswell of Owen Sound, was in his 86th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Lelanda (Shaw). Dear brother of Terry Haswell (Pat), and brother in-law of Ed Shaw. Loving uncle of Mike (Carolyn), Deb (Diane), Diane (Frank) and Debra. Lee will also be missed by his great-nieces and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Bert and Marg Haswell, his niece Donna, his parents-in-law Earl and Irene Shaw, his stepmother-in-law Leona Shaw, and his sister-in-law Loretta.
Lee retired after 42 years from Transcontinental Printing. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, coffee mornings with the guys, and all family gatherings.
Lee’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the healthcare professionals caring for Lee during his final days, for their compassion and assistance during their time of need.
